Pet Boarding for Your Cat, Dog and Exotics
Family Pet Hospital of Stone Oak offers high-quality
boarding for dogs and cats. Whether you have to be out of
town overnight or for an extended period of time, your pet
will be happy and well cared for while here. All pets are
required to be current on vaccinations, and new boarders
will receive a complimentary Technician Check prior to being
introduced into boarding.
This is performed to help reveal obvious conditions
that may cause your pet to have discomfort during their
boarding stay with us.
If vaccinations need to be updated prior to
admittance, a customary office visit charge will apply.
Our boarding facilities are here in our hospital so all
boarding pets have access to swift medical attention if
needed. All of
our runs and kennels are indoors and temperature controlled
so that pets will be comfortable in any type of weather. Our
staff will take your dog outside 4 times daily in our large,
fully fenced backyard. All pets get a great deal of
personalized care.
What to Pack When Boarding Your Pet
Family Pet Hospital of Stone Oak will supply soft bedding
and food for your pet. Runs and cages are scrubbed twice
daily and bedding is washed frequently so that we can keep
everything clean and odor free. Dont worry your pet will
be very comfortable with us.
If you prefer to bring your pets own food, please package
it in individual bags labeled for each day of boarding. The
label should include your pets name, your last name, type
of food, and amount per feeding.
If your pet is taking a medication we ask that you bring it
with you. Please make sure it is clearly labeled the label
should include your pets name, your last name, type and
strength of medication, and dosing directions. There is an
administration fee for giving medications while boarding.
If your pet is staying long enough, surgical procedures can
also be scheduled during their time with us for your
